Join us on our flagship annual yachting trip in summer 2025, as we visit the Italian island of Sardinia, and the French island of Corsica.

Explore an abandoned military fort, learn to dinghy sail or windsurf on the warm Italian water from a sandy beach, set sail before dawn for a magical sunrise sail, stroll through iconic Mediterranean streets with an Italian/French twist, and visit the French clifftop town of Bonifacio…
Setting off near Olbia on the north-east side of Sardinia, over the course of one week our flotilla will sail north, through the archipelago of La Maddalena National Park, eventually crossing the Strait to the French Island of Corsica and the incredible hilltop town of Bonifacio! We’ll then work our way gradually back south via a different route, and finish back where we started, one week later.

For this route, we have secured five 46ft private sailing yachts.
Each yacht hosts 8 guests (in 4 double cabins) plus a Summer Yachting skipper – so we have just over 40 guest places available.
You can book as a group, with a friend/ partner, or solo.
Everyone is welcome – you might be an experienced sailor, or it might be your first ever time onboard.
Pricing & Payment
New Members
Welcome! We’d love to have you onboard for the first time! We know you’ll have a lot of questions – feel free to send us an email anytime and we’ll get right back to you.
The price to join this trip as a new member will be £700pp. This covers everything, apart from flights, food, drinks, and the occasional optional activity (e.g. if you choose to go paddleboarding or dinghy sailing one day).
How Does Booking Work?
Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served, basis.
After you fill out the booking form, the Summer Yachting Ltd bank details will be shared with you by email.
There are four payments, spread across the year, beginning with a booking deposit (£150) to confirm your place. After that, you can wait for each payment date, or if you wish, you can pay your balance at any time.
Returning Members
We can’t wait to have you back! The price to join the Sardinia trip in 2025 for returning members (anyone who has been on a Summer Yachting trip before) will be £650pp.
Also, fun new bonus thing we’re trying out for 2025 for returning members – for each new member you bring with you on the trip, we’ll give you £20 towards your own booking as a thank you.

Everyone.
If you’re reading this, you are invited! Summer Yachting trips are open to all, we welcome everyone. Sign up, and bring friends (two or three, or a whole boatful).
No sailing experience is required (and if you’d like to learn, we will happily teach you).
We hope to welcome a substantial group of returning guests who have sailed with us in previous years, along with a new cohort of fresh sailors, who might be completely new to this.

Each yacht has 4 cabins, each of which is shared between two people.
For this reason, we recommend joining as a duo, either with a close friend, or a partner.
Joining as a friend group tends to work best in our experience and we will make sure you are all onboard the same yacht. If you can pull a group of 8 people together, we will arrange a yacht just for you.
There are three bathrooms (“heads”) onboard each yacht.

Along with food & drink and the occasional optional activity, flights are not included in your booking.
This is to allow total flexibility – guests tend to fly from all over the UK, and many choose to travel in the country before or after the trip.
For SY25 in Sardinia, the most logical airport to fly to is Olbia, Sardinia (OLB). You should aim to arrive in Portisco (a short bus/ taxi journey away) at 1800 on Saturday 7th June 2025. We recommend Skyscanner or similar for finding flights!
